Aviation Technical Writer

Responsibilities
o   Write and update manuals based on customer's specifications.
o   Validation of procedural task on equipment.
o   Ensuring all documentation is clear, concise, user targeted, and correct within regulatory compliance and company style guidelines.
o   Procedures covered by our technical manuals include inspection, operation, servicing, repair, illustrated parts list, and fault inspection isolation that is       supported by engineering source data.
o   Some travel may be required.

Education Requirements
Minimum two-year college degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or engineering science.

Qualification Requirements
o   Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documents essential
o   Airline/Aviation/Military experience
o   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o   Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word
o   Minimum of two years of technical writing experience

Desired Qualifications
o   Preferred knowledge of XML editing programs
o   Epic Editor/Arbortext knowledge is a plus
o   Prior Aircraft Maintenance experience is desired

Parts Analyst

Review engineering drawings, engineering change notices, drawing parts list, specifications, vendor information and customer supplied source data. This person will evaluate and organize material and incorporate into publications according to set standards.

• Ability and interest in learning computer programs and specific databases 
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Office helpful
